Marion has been painting all her life, and the happiness & comfort her pet portraits have brought to pet owners in Europe and North America is the joy and inspiration behind her work.
If she can ease someone’s loss by giving a little of their pet back in a pet portrait and put a smile back on their face, then her job is done.
Her joy is in attempting to bring out the unique personality and expressive characteristics of each animal she paints: the lopsided grin, the rolling eye, the crooked ear. The tiny touches which personalize a portrait.
